My husband and I were moving back from Idaho to Missouri and watched in terror from our hotel room. Just a few days later, as we were leaving Mitchell, Oregon we gave a ride, meals and encouragement to three young men who were leaving for New York City to help with the cleanup and recovery process. They like so many Americans were ready to leave their homes, families and jobs to do whatever they could to help.
